We bought our first caravan in 2014, although I was caravanning with my parents back in the early 80’s
Surprisingly, just up the road from where we live – Cirencester Park. It is so peaceful and just 15mins away from home – we could be anywhere! We do have favourite places in Devon and Oxfordshire too, but I'm keeping them secret for now ☺
The absolute freedom to do what we want, when we want to. Its perhaps the easiest way to get back to nature, with some creature comforts. We can choose where to go, how long we stay and it’s our home from home.
Packing up and coming home. I always get really sad when we finally hitch up and head home. But once home we research, plan and book our next adventure so we always have something to look forward to.
The Cadac. Cooking outside is so liberating no matter the time of year, weather or time of day!
Don’t procrastinate, just do it. You will soon be uttering the mantra “why didn’t we do this earlier” and don’t be afraid to ask, we all make mistakes, some funnier than others.
