Show your commitment to the security standard of the caravan and motorhome storage industry – become a member of CaSSOA today!
As the industry benchmark for caravan and motorhome storage standards, a CaSSOA site can be seen as the preferred location for caravan and motorhome owners looking for a storage location.
Should you wish to become a member of CaSSOA please email enquiries@cassoa.co.uk with your site details. Our independent surveyors will then carry out a comprehensive on-site survey in order to fully assess your storage site. Depending on the security features and other on-site facilities, Silver, Gold or Platinum award will be recommended.
Accreditation is based on various security features including perimeter fencing, CCTV and entry/exit systems. Consideration is also given to the risk to the stored caravans from, fire, flood, vermin, and storm damage. We will always offer recommendations and advice to help you progress to a higher accreditation should you wish to. All CaSSOA storage facilities undergo a 3 yearly, on-site survey to ensure that they are maintaining the standards required for their accreditation.
As well as being part of a nationally recognised association, CaSSOA also offers unique member benefits - please download the documents at the bottom of the page.
WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH OUR SELF ASSESSMENT FORM.
If you would like to join CaSSOA please contact enquiries@cassoa.co.uk with your site name and contact details.
* URN – Unique Reference Number which is issued by the Police in the area where the site is located.
** CCTV may have to be registered with the Information Commissioners Office as per the Data Protection Act. See www.ico.org.uk
*** Contracted Security Patrol – A contracted security patrol company should be registered with the Security Industry Authority. Any such contracted service which is not registered will not attract any points at survey.
Please note: All accreditations are awarded using a point structured criteria, this can be discussed with the site surveyor directly and the time of your survey. In order for you to be considered for a CaSSOA accreditation all sites must have perimeter fencing encompassing the entire storage area and the entrance / exit are protected by lockable gates as a minimum level of security. All sites must conform to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. A fire risk assessment must have been carried out by a responsible person. Please note we are unable to provide you with the definitive criteria for each individual accreditation status as each site is assessed on its own merits following a full site survey by our risk surveyor.
