Caravan & Motorhome New Year Checklist

Alongside your New Year resolutions, why not make sure everything's sorted with your caravan and motorhome with our New Year checklist:

Caravan insurance &Breakdown cover

Check when your caravan insurance is due for renewal. It’s always a good idea to shop around for the best deal – and don’t forget that cheaper isn’t always better. If you store your caravan on a CaSSOA accredited storage site, it’s worth checking out CaSSOA Caravan Insurance, backed by A rated insurer AmTrust.

Habitation check / annual service

Schedule your annual service or habitation check. Habcheck offer this service, and only use AWS engineers. The Approved Workshop Scheme gives you the assurance that your service engineer has passed rigorous assessments and holds the correct skills to service your caravan or motorhome.

Things to check before you travel:

  • Check wheels & make sure that tyres are the correct pressure. Tyres should be renewed every 5 years.
  • Towing equipment

  • Lights
