As the industry body for caravan storage and security, at CaSSOA we want to continually strive to improve standards across the industry and championing high levels of maintenance and development.
As such, we have taken the decision to phase out Bronze accreditation and replace with Ungraded Associate Member. We felt that the security provided by these members was not representative of the high standards of security CaSSOA and CaSSOA members stand for. From 1st January 2023, Bronze accreditation will be replaced with Ungraded Associate.
If you store your vehicle on one of these sites, you should inform your insurance provider, as this change may affect any discounts you are receiving.
Ungraded Associate members will still have had a security survey and will still be required to have a survey every 3-5 years.
Ungraded Associate members will equate to a very small percentage of CaSSOA members and are likely to have basic security in place, perhaps relying on natural vegetation as perimeter protection, manual entry points and limited surveillance.
CaSSOA will be working with these sites to encourage them to improve and update security to achieve Silver or Gold.
